Happy Sunday friends! I love the feel of Sunday. Saturday is relaxing and full of fun and activity. Sunday is my get sh!t done day. Prepare for the week ahead to make it as easy as possible to eat healthy, workout, and not go crazy juggling working from home with a new baby.
Here’s a peek at my Happy Planner for the week. I’m still trying to figure out a way to photograph it better. It’s not an easy task! This week I decided to focus on gratitude and self-care. I’m going to spend one nursing session reading for fun, instead of working or zoning out on the internet on my phone. I’m also hoping to meditate daily, even if it’s only for a few minutes while nursing or before I fall asleep.
I love the color scheme I went with; teal, purple and gold. I’ve ordered some more stickers from etsy that should be here within the next few weeks and plan to do another giveaway then!
I totally failed and forgot to take a photo of the fitness planner I set-up! I’ll share it in my Fitness Friday post. My workout schedule for the week is as follows:
Tuesday: Speed Intervals
Saturday: 4 miles
My menu for the week is:
Breakfast: Steel cut oatmeal
Lunch: Hearty Rice Skillet or a Salad
I love the miso split pea soup from never homemaker, but I can’t find miso anywhere! The Fred Meyers near us carries it but has been out. So, if I can find miso today I’ll make that. Otherwise I’ll go with my yummy curry. I’ll prepare some hard boiled eggs to snack on and pick up some crackers, apples, nuts and yogurt. I’ve never made steel cut oats before so if you have a good recipe for them, or technique for making them, please share! I was planning to use the slow cooker to make a huge batch overnight to keep for the week.
I have two huge business goals for 2016. I’ve been toying around with an idea of a product line I could launch since I was pregnant back in Alabama, and I really want to provide a blog related service. I just can’t decide between putting together an eBook, an online course or a workshop. If you would be interested in any of those let me know what format you’d prefer!
