I love moderation.
Moderation means I will continue to workout and make (primarily) healthy eating choices over the Holidays. It also means that I will tear up some cookies. The Holidays only come around once a year and I fully intend on enjoying them! Life is too short to obsess over how many calories are in a Christmas cookie at your offices Holiday party. Just eat the damn cookie. As long as you maintain your regular level of fitness, it's not going to make or break the scale. In Christmases past I've gone overboard with the treats, and I felt physically like crap. I've also restricted myself from eating almost anything fun, and I felt emotionally like crap. Now, it's all about balance.
Nutella stuffed sugar cookies ... I'm coming for you.
