It's been an interesting week in workouts for me. I took two days off early this week because I just didn't have the energy. It's been raining every day, and I've been extremely fatigued. I finally felt better on Tuesday and walked down to the gym to use the elliptical. Wednesday I wanted to do some weights since I hadn't all week and I planned to do the full Shed & Shred DVD (1 hour.) At the end of the first workout I started to get lightheaded so I immediately went to put my head between my legs. Well, big ol' belly in the way makes that kind of difficult. So, I laid on the couch with my legs propped up on the back. Then I realized I wasn't supposed to be on my back!

After a few minutes I felt fine so I started to workout again. That lasted about 15 seconds before I realized I needed to call it a day. I laid down on the couch to catch my breath again and 90 minutes later I woke up and it was time for lunch.

Thursday I threw on a light hooded windbreaker and took to my favorite trail for a short hike. I needed out of the house!

I went grocery shopping right after and had to grab some smoked Gouda. I made up this little plate to have for lunch and ended up going back for seconds on all of it. Guess I was needing some extra fat in my diet yesterday!weekend

Travis finally got his medal for running the Little Rock Marathon. They didn't have them in on race day due to a workers strike or something, so they mailed them out a few weeks later. Yes, it is GIANT. Hence why he drove all the way to Little Rock and ran a marathon in the rain!Weekend1

Mom was sending me old photos this week. Love this of my Great Grandmother Violet. She was 14 here. At 16 she skipped school one day, crossed the state line, and got married. She returned home and lived there while she finished high school without ever telling her parents she was married. Weekend3

Last weekend I started working on these stuffed felt animals for the babes nursery. I bought the pattern for the set of 6 off Etsy for $15. They are SO easy to make. Each one takes about 2 hours. The total cost of materials (thread and felt) was maybe $10 so it's a fairly inexpensive project. Most of the decor for the nursery will be handmade. I can't wait to show off what Travis has been working on!

Snapped some great photos of Rudy and Smokey this week. I always feel like I don't show them off as much as I do #1 son (Salem.)IMG_8539

IMG_8545This weekend it's supposed to rain - again - so I'm not sure what we'll be doing. There's a chance Travis may have to fly Saturday as well to make up for time they lost this week due to weather. I'll probably try to get 1 or 2 more animals done, and I have a few organizational projects I want to tackle around the house (under my bathroom sink and our pantry are in dire need of help.) I'm already trying to purge as much as possible before we move. I'd like to run this weekend but I tried running a bit yesterday and my belly started to hurt immediately so I stopped. I ordered a belly band of Amazon last week so hopefully that comes soon and I can keep running a bit longer!

What are you doing this weekend? What is the last craft project you worked on?
