I had a great week of workouts!
Saturday: 2 mile walk with babe (so a 10 pound weighted vest basically!)
Sunday: 5k run + 2 mile walk
Monday: T25 + 5k walk
Tuesday: 5k run + 2 mile walk
Thursday: 2 mile walk
Friday: 5k run. My last in Florida!
I've been trying to soak up this Florida weather as much as possible. Little man seems to love going on walks, which we sadly won't be able to do for a while in Alaska, so I've taken him out almost every day for an hour before dinner.
Whenever I go out with the baby I take shaded routes so he doesn't get too much sun, and put one of his little hats on to cover his bald head. He will stay awake the first 5-10 minutes and then pass out the rest of the time. I usually listen to podcasts/periscopes on blogging while I walk and it's such a nice break to be outside!
I'm still on my salad a day kick. Dad makes me these amazing salads before work every day when he makes one for himself. Mom made these taco bowls last night that I'll be making next week in Alaska. I'm just going to cook up a bunch of brown rice and everything else is just thrown into the bowl cold. So easy! She had some buffalo ranch dressing I used on it as well that really brought everything together. It had been a few months since my last haircut so I finally got in and had a few inches taken off. I know you can hardly even tell. I keep thinking of chopping a good amount of length off, but always chicken out! We are about 24 hours away from boarding and apparently there's a hurricane heading toward our first layover (Dallas.) Awesome. I can just imagine how fun it would be getting stuck in an airport for 24 hours with a 6 week old baby. Hopefully the weather calms down by the time we fly in.
I've got so much left to do before we leave. Packing mostly, and some random errands around town. This month has flown by and it's surreal to think I'll be in Alaska tomorrow!
