This post was sponsored by Tiny Prints through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Tiny Prints, all opinions are my own. From almost the time we found out we were expecting our first child, Travis and I started talking about Christmas present ideas (okay – it was mostly me talking and him listening.) I knew the baby would be about three months old during his first Christmas and wanted to make it as special as possible.
A few weeks ago I tried to make some handprint ornaments while his hands were still teeny tiny to give to the grandparents for Christmas. Total fail. Do you know how hard it is to get a newborn’s hands still enough to take an impression? I’m going to try it again one day when he’s in a deep sleep but I started to think of other cute customizable gifts I could get for people for the holiday.
After we took some family photos the day before Travis left for Alaska I went to Tiny Prints to see what I could make with them. I spent hours trying to decide what to get! When I finally made my choices it was super easy to design everything. It took me under 5 minutes to make each gift and it was as simple as uploading the photos I wanted.
For my Mom I made this cheerful coffee cup.
Travis got a custom coffee cup as well (given he’s only two months into the job I’m not 100% sure he’s the world’s greatest Dad just yet, but he’s off to a great start!)
I also made this gorgeous Christmas ornament for him. Really it’s a gift for both of us because I definitely just wanted this for myself!
I love that we will have this ornament for the rest of our lives. I can’t believe we have a son now and get to celebrate such a special time this Christmas with him.
The coffee cups turned out so nice and are such an affordable gift that I am definitely going to make some for other family members now. I just hope they didn’t read the blog today and spoil the surprise!
