No Excuses Strength Workout with PUMA

I've never owned anything by PUMA. It's not like I had anything against the brand, in fact I always thought the style was super cute, but I sometimes find it hard to branch out of my usual gear to explore new brands. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to try out an outfit and shoes by PUMA because honestly - I am in love.

I've been wearing the capris and top to run in at least once a week for the past month. They are so comfortable! That 21 miler I demolished? I was rocking this hot pink PUMA top! I've been having an issue with my tops riding up on me as I run. It was so bad one week I actually tucked my shirt in during the run. I'm sure that looked hot. Thankfully that wasn't an issue with this longer shirt. I also love the material-it wicked away my sweat so it never once stuck to me or felt like I was suffocating in it (an impressive feat in this Florida weather!)

I'm super picky about the bottoms I wear and these 3/4 length performance tights fit every single criteria I have: thick waistband so they don't cut in at the waist, appropriate length for my short frame, and form-fitting without being skin-tight. I've run in them a dozen times and they may be with me when I run my first marathon Β next month!

The whole outfit came together with the cutest purple training shoes. I've been wearing these around daily while running errands or going out for walks. They are super lightweight, breathable and flexible. I hate how stiff new shoes can be but I put these on and they immediately had that 'made for my foot after breaking them in for a month' feel. Now - on to the workout. If you've been following my marathon training you know my strength training has taken a backseat. I put together this quickie no-equipment strength workout that I can do after my runs. It's only about 8 minutes long but it consists of moves that target all of my favorite parts to workout: upper arms/shoulders, abs and butt!
