It's Fall, Y'all!

We are officially into Fall season (nearly Winter here in Alaska) and this weekend was filled with lots of fun Fall activities!

It started off with breaking in my new KitchenAid mixer on Friday. I used it to bake three dozen pumpkin shaped sugar cookies.

Travis got it for me for our two year anniversary and I couldn't think of a better way to use it for the first time! I was baking cookies to bring to our FRG Halloween party that night for the kids to decorate.

Since we are total nerds we decided we'd all dress up as Star Wars characters this year.

Little man was not happy with Daddy wearing a mask! We had a great time though, and I ate about half a dozen (or more) cookies that day.

On Saturday we went out to eat at The Cookie Jar (despite having a horrific time there last time.)

Their veggie burger is just so damn good!

After lunch we headed over to a Fall festival I had been looking forward to for a few weeks. Since the nearest town is six hours away there isn't always a lot of activities going on. Travis and I both agreed the festival was a total bust.

There was a line of about 100 people waiting to get in, but it was actually a line for a pumpkin patch and not the general festival area. Someone walking out mentioned to us we could just walk in so that saved us almost 30 minutes. There were a few animals out for the kids to pet, and a small building that apparently had some games going on inside (we saw wall-to-wall people inside so we didn't even try to go in) and that was it.

Baby loved petting the animals so at least that was worth it!

I can't get over how adorable he looks in sweaters!

This week I'll be getting 600 Halloween leggings in so my life is going to be a LuLaRoe blur. I'm posting them for sale on Tuesday and expect them to sell out in under an hour. I'll spend the rest of the day invoicing customers, and then the next two or three days shipping orders. LLR has absolutely blown up for me. I will talk about it in a separate post this week!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and got to enjoy some Fall-ish weather. The highs this week are in the 40's so I think our Fall is ending and I'll be busting out the heavy coats and snow boots soon!

How was your weekend?

What Fall activity do you look forward to the most?
