My Son Turned 1 and Here's Why I Haven't Been Around Lately ...

Hey friends!

I've missed you. Genuinely. The last few weeks have been a total blur. My parents were in town for over a week, my son had his birthday, he got sick, I got sick, I started a new business, and I can't remember the last time I've stopped working before midnight.

Let's back up to my parents visit. We had a great time playing tourist for a week with them! We went to Denali, took them to our favorite hike/walking spots (Angel Rocks and Creamer's Field), went out to eat, and they came with us to our favorite library story time and baby gym class.

I'm so glad we were able to have some family up here to help us celebrate our sons first birthday! It was such a fun, low key, day.

The day before they left baby came down with a cold. He's been eating and acting fine, but his nose has been a faucet for a few days now. I caught it about two days after him, but we are both doing much better now. He had is one year appointment this week and is doing very well! Average for height and weight, sleeping through the night (7:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. usually), taking a few steps on his own, says a few words, and loves to watch people. He's so much more interactive now than even just a month or two ago. I don't think I've hidden the fact that Travis and I would love to have a few more!

I've also been very busy with different things for work. I have an amazing group of clients in my six week bootcamp that's ending next week. I had a website redesign done (isn't it fancy?) and I started selling LuLaRoe! I'll do a whole post on LuLaRoe soon but I will say that it is 100x more work then I ever imagined, and doing much better than I anticipated financially!

Well, I can hear baby crying so his nap, and my time to work, is officially over!

How have you been? What have I missed in the blog world?
