This morning I checked the weather and saw we have rain predicted for the next week so I headed out to the beach for a bit after a quick workout. It was one of the most beautiful days I’ve ever seen! The water was crystal blue, the sun was shining and it was just what I needed to help refresh me a bit mid-week. I saw a sand castle, sand crabs (kept trying to become friends with one but they aren’t very sociable) and best of all … the Blue Angels! I guess they were practicing for their big air show this weekend and I got an hour long preview. It was incredible! I got a short video with my phone. Not nearly as impressive as in person but it was such a blast. Watch until the half way mark and you’ll see how close they get to the water! This is just one of 4 planes that were out practicing formation. I can’t believe I was one of two people out there watching!

Of course as soon as I headed home it started to rain and thunder – got to love Florida’s bipolar weather!
