Weekly Workout Wrap-Up

September 21st, 2012 | Posted by Erica House in Fitness

I’m working on how to get hyperlinks into the Publisher document I created the table on but in the mean time here are the reviews I’ve written about the workouts I did this week!:

Extreme Shed and Shred

Six week six pack

Booty Barre Total New Body

Also, in case you missed it, don’t forget to check out the amazing pictures we took on our 10 mile hike and our walk around Gibbs Point on Saturday!

Yesterday was our 8 month anniversary so Matt and I will be going out to eat this evening. We’re dorks, I know. He was also given VIP tickets to Deluna Fest this weekend so we may head there for a bit Saturday and Sunday. Can you believe I’ve never been to an outdoor musical event?

I’m hoping to also get around to checking out some costume stores for Halloween costumes this weekend. We are both super into the holidays and I haven’t dressed up in years so we’re planning to go all out this year!

Has anyone else decided on their costume already? I need some inspiration!

  • Great week of workouts!!
I dont usually dress up unless we have a halloween party. When I do, I coordinate with my hubby. Is that lame? lol Last year I was a soccer player, he was the ref, and our dog was a soccer ball lol

That’s not lame at all! Matt and I are trying to think of something we could coordinate. I love that you included your dog in the family costume coordination lol – I need to get a costume for Salem this year!

I seriously can’t believe you’ve never been to an outdoor music concert lol. That’s all we do in St. Louis. All summer long. It looks like there’s gonna be a ton of awesome bands at the Deluna Fest though! Super jealous you’re going! :)

Matt wanted to see Ben Folds Five tonight but we already had dinner reservations. I told him I’d be happy to move our dinner plans to Saturday night but he said it wasn’t a big deal. I guess there’s some band playing Sunday night he wants to see but I can’t remember who. I’ve just never been that into music! I tried in High School when everyone was becoming obsessive about certain bands but I’ve always been more of a book lover :)

I love 6 week 6 pack :) Have you tried killer buns and thighs? I haven’t dressed up in YEARS… but I always want to when it gets closer to Halloween. Happy 8 mos, btw – that’s not lame, it’s cute :) It’s important to take time to celebrate!!

I actually like 6 week 6 pack WAY better than her new Abs dvd (Killer Abs). I’m going to review it next week I just haven’t finished all 3 levels yet. I do own Killer buns and thighs but I stopped doing it regularly when we started running in February since I’d always be to sore after it to run! I really liked it though – you’ve reminded me to try and rotate it into my workouts next week :)

  • Crow!! That is actually the pose I tried for the first time last week (and failed). That’s awesome.

  • I love that your workouts are so diverse! Must keep you from getting bored! I have got to start trying new things!

I don’t have a gym membership so it’s crucial I try out new workouts often to combat boredom! Anytime I start feeling really bored with my routines I’ll splurge on a new DVD from Amazon and I get all excited to workout again. Hulu has some routines on there for free that are really good to try sometime as well.
